When a new workspace is created using ETABS import type, the new workspace has the following attributes:
A. Single Mat
For a single mat footing, the information gathered during the import process creates a single mat supporting all of the nodes.
B. Footing Group
For a footing group type workspace, the information gathered during the import process creates multiple footings under each node.

When reactions are imported from Excel that were generated in ETABS, the coordinate system that is assumed by Foundation3D and Mat3D is as displayed in Reaction Coordinate System.
Import Reactions on Load Cases Page:
When "Import Reactions" button is clicked on Load Cases page, the import assumes that the footing and the load elements exist. If footing and load elements have not been created, load cases cannot be imported.
