To create a footing group manually, follow the steps below:
1. First create a single footing on Footing Geometry page. Enter the inputs as you would for a single footing as described in Footing Geometry.
2. Click "New Footing" to add a new footing and enter the footing geometry. Change the Offset in X and Z direction to locate the footing as desired. The new footing is added as a tab to allow footing selection
3. Similarly create as many footings as necessary for the foundation system. Each footing is created as a tab with the footing name specified on the footing geometry page
4. Select the footing by clicking on the appropriate tab and on Pier Geometry page, enter pier information as you would for a pier as described in Pier Geometry
5. On Load Cases page, make the desired changes such as load case names, number of load cases etc.
6. On Load Combinations page, make appropriate changes as desired
7. Repeat steps 4 to 6 for each footing to complete input of all the footings in the foundation system
8. Click on Footing Layout page to visually see the footing arrangement in a plan view
9. Once input is complete, click "Calculate Footing" or "Calculate All" to complete the design of all the footings in the foundation system
