Hexagon's PV Elite is a pressure vessel, heat exchanger and a vertical vessel design software. After an equipment design is completed in PV Elite, it generates a JSON file containing the necessary equipment geometry and loads that can then be imported into Foundation3D.

Grade Elevation:
Since PV Elite does not have the grade elevation information but does have point of support elevation (POS), the grade elevation information must be provided during the import process to Foundation3D so that correct pier heights can be determined. At the Workspace Settings window of the Create Workspace Wizard where PV Elite JSON data file is specified, a Grade Elevation input field with a default value of 0 is provided. This value can be changed to reflect the correct grade elevation or the grade elevation can be changed in Foundation3D after import.
