The allowable load types such as Dead, Wind, Earthquake, etc. as defined in Application tab of App Settings allow each load combination to use a load type from this list. For example, a load combination “Dead + Wind” can either be defined as an allowable load type of “Dead” or “Wind”. Depending on this selection of “Dead” or “Wind”, the allowable increases as defined in the Allowables Tab of the Workspace Settings will be applied to the selected load combination.
*Note: Newly entered allowable load types in App Settings are visible in workspaces only when you start a new project. These newly entered load types will NOT be visible in existing workspaces.
